Mission Statement:
To promote economic growth through the participation and involvement in the community by the planning of events including but not limited to musical performances, comedy acts, and dancing which support diversity and the improvement of quality of life.

goal is (1) to continue providing cultural events that will
support the overall image of Lansing. And (2) through our efforts and
dedication, donate a music hall to downtown Lansing.
The Board of Directors:
Dawn Anderson
Dawn Marie Anderson currently works as the Assistant Auditor General for the State of Michigan. Dawn has helped organize and promote events such as the “Register.Rock.Vote. back in 2004. The goal of the organization was to raise voter awareness, register people to vote and provide information about local candidates. Dawn’s Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University is an asset to the CFAC.
Marco Broggio
a graduate from Michigan State University has worked as a Neighborhood Resource Coordinator working with both, local government and residents of the East Lansing community. Marco is currently the Property Manager of Aspen Lakes; a condominium community located in Holt, MI. Marco has also successfully started and is currently running an event planning company called Turntable Productions at which he provides a diverse spectrum of cultural events at a variety of local Lansing venues. Marco is also member of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Grand River Connection. The CFAC will leverage Marcos experience in working with the community and thru his production company to help produce major cultural events.
Cody J. Goul
Over the past four years Cody J. Goul has started and operated a couple of different small businesses. Cody is currently managing a online consulting company called MrCleanCredit.com. MrCleanCredit is business that provides consumers information that educates them about the credit reporting industry. Cody has also worked as a loan officer for HomeLoans and has also helped organize and promote amateur boxing shows with the Gallo Boxing Gym. In the past Cody worked as the Assistant to the Marketing Director for the Lansing Entertainment and Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA). At LEPFA Cody helped promote and organize several large concerts and other indoor/outdoor events at the Lansing Center, Lansing City Market, and Oldsmobile Park. Cody brings his 7 years of business administration education and over 4 years of personal experience in organizational management to the CFAC.
Autumn Hernandez
Autumn Hernandez is a Lansing native that has started and currently running a production company called Old Skool Productions with her partner and fellow board member Laurie Kirk. Thru her company, Autumn, has organized events such as amateur boxing shows as well as musical performances from bands for various fundraising activities. Autumn currently is employed as a server with Applebee’s, at which she has worked for over two years. Autumn brings her experience and energy from her production company to help coordinate CFAC events.
Laurie Kirk
Laurie Kirk has started and is currently running a production company called Old Skool Productions with her partner and fellow board member Autumn Hernandez. Thru her company, Laurie, has organized events such as amateur boxing shows as well as musical performances from bands for various fundraising activities. Laurie currently is employed as a server with P.F. Changs, at which she has worked for over two years. Laurie brings her experience and energy from her production company to help coordinate CFAC events.
J.C. Ortiz
Juan Carlos Ortiz is a native of Puerto Rico and has lived in the Lansing area since 1988. JC has vast experience in performing the congas, timbales and bongos with local artists such as the Mike Skory Experience. JC has also been a disk jockey at local clubs including The Exchange, 621, Harpers Downtown along with working as a radio personality on the Latin Rhythms show at 89.7 WLNZ. Juan Ortiz has also worked as a dance instructor thru organizations like Motor City Salseros, 3Face Entertainment and instructed in colleges including Michigan State University, Lansing Community College and Central Michigan University. JC’s experience within the musical and dance arena is a major asset to CFAC.
